There are many types of performance art, and in the LGBT community we have that in spades. However, one particular set of artists, is often overlooked.

In this video by Stylist Magazine, we are introduced to Zayn Phallic and Adam All, both of whom tell us how they got into being drag king. They demonstrate what it to get into drag, from the hair to the makeup and finally the outfit. For them, drag is a way to express things that they wouldn’t as women.

Our diverse LGBT communities offer provocative stories about how people find freedom. This video gives takes a look at a part of the community that deserves more recognition for its art form.
